What is Doomsday all about?
Doomsday Discs is a disc golf brand that was created with your survival in mind. Make no mistake, when the end of modern society comes, there’s nothing we can do to help you. But you can help yourself by throwing excellent discs while civilization still stands, and by building a stockpile of premium plastic for the apocalypse. When there’s nothing left to do but pass the time scavenging for food and throwing discs through incredible dystopian landscapes, you’ll be glad that you have prepared with a great collection of top-quality discs. Playing disc golf just might give you the mental fortitude you will need to be a survivor.
Who makes the calls?
Doomsday Discs is operated by the collaboration of collective minds working together as part of a team. All members of Team Doomsday, whether players,or engineers, or marketing professionals, work together to determine the fate of the brand. The team helps to name our discs, design our apparel, and share our preparedness strategies for the coming Doomsday. If you can assist us in this valiant quest, you too can join our team and contribute at the Doomsday Discs Discord. Now is the time to get in on the ground floor.
Why do you have so many different discs and plastics?
The best strategy for preparedness is diversification, so Doomsday Discs are manufactured at multiple locations throughout the world. Redundancy is the best way to ensure that we have quality products for as long as possible. Not all areas of earth will experience catastrophic events at the same place or time. While our predictions of where and when the cataclysmic events will take place may not alway become reality, we know one thing for sure-- manufacturing in a single location could backfire with the ever-changing political, economic, and catastrophic tides of a fragile planet.
What is Doomsday working on?
Doomsday Discs is currently building a Prepper Line of discs that cover the basic needs of most disc golfers, a Catastrophic Line of premium discs that are made in the USA, a Munitions Line of discs that are somewhat experimental and fun to throw, and a Conspiracy Line of discs that are made in a location so remote that it is probably ruled by pirates. We look forward to introducing new discs in all of these lines at a rapid pace because nobody knows how much longer we all have to stock up for an uncertain future. One thing is for sure, we will go down throwing.
