Understable Discs
Welcome to the Understable Discs collection from Doomsday Discs. In disc golf, “understable” means a disc that turns right during the high-speed portion of flight—assuming you’re among the 87% of normal people who throw with your right hand backhand. If you’re one of those “other folk,” then yes, your understable discs will turn left. Many will still fade back in the opposite direction as they slow down, but how much depends on the disc, the power you put behind it, and how close to the ground it flies.
Why does this matter? Because understable discs are survival tools for players who don’t throw with apocalyptic-level arm speed. They allow for hyzer flips, smooth turnovers, and long gliding flights that stretch your distance without demanding brute force.
At Doomsday, we’re not shackled by governing bodies or tradition. We make discs to help you adapt and endure when chaos rules. Our understable lineup isn’t about conformity—it’s about giving you flight paths that bend, turn, and glide exactly when you need them most.
If survival requires precision and adaptability, these are the understable discs you’ll want in your bag when the world ends.
