The Oxymoron is a twisted experiment in disc design. It is a square-shaped "disc" that is not PDGA approved because it is not the right shape for competitive disc golf. But that didn't stop Doomsday Discs from making them for entertainment purposes and casual rounds. It has a round inside rim on the bottom so that it feels more natural when gripped...well...as natural as you can get with a square disc.

This disc will probably require a new flight number that measures lift, as it has a tendency to rise upward when spinning. Thus, we'll say that the disc has these numbers:

Speed 7 / Glide 1 / Lift 3 / Turn -2 / Fade 2

I love it

I love it. I've dreamed of this disc for 25 years, and it's finally a reality. The flight path is like switchbacks, S after S, and when it finally slows enough it launches itself up in whichever trajectory it's aimed then tombstones down!so much fun to throw!
