Area 51 Approach Putter in Clandestine Plastic

(5 customer reviews)

The Area 51 is an approach putter with a shallow profile and overstable finish so that it can handle significant torque, making it an excellent choice for sidearm throws and confident approach shots. It is being released as part of the Conspiracy Line of discs. The premium plastic with a sparkle finish is durable and somewhat stiff and we’re calling it Clandestine (for now) to give this premium blend it’s own identity. The disc weight will land in the 170-175 gram range (most often around 172 grams).

The Disc You Didn’t Know You Needed

The A51 is everything you ever needed in the approach game. If you love the discraft zone, you will love the A51! It has a straighter flight with a stable finish. Definitely recommend trying this disc if you don’t own one!

Do you like the Zone? You'll love the Area 51

Absolutely love the Area 51, very similar to a Discraft Zone. I mostly stayed away from overstable discs as a newer player, but this disc opened my game up to adding overstable discs to my bag. Great approach disc that is very controllable.

My favorite low speed approach!

I first got an area 51 around the summer of 2023 and it’s been a mainstay in my bag! i love it for short shots off the tee, and short up-shots on the fairway! i bag 2 of them (both at different levels of being beat in) and i can throw this thing confidently always! i use one for hyzer putts, and longer shots that i want a little flip then fade. then i use my newer (less beat in) one for short hyzer shots and skip shots!

Super dope. Like a shallow zone, a bit straighter.

I bought the Area51 after reading in a review that it was very similar to the Westside Harp. I like to play the harp for forehand approaches.

What can I say, after a slightly longer delivery time. I live in Germany.

The Area51 does exactly what I want it in my bag for. Good predictable forehand approaches.
