Ice Age in Landfill Plastic

The Ice Age is coming, and it will help to navigate the fairways of the frozen wastelands with it’s overstable finish. The Ice Age is a fairway driver that can handle torque, working to move around obstacles in your path with a dependable fade. Or flex it on an anhyzer to get a solid s-curve flight. Landfill plastic is a regrind / recycled plastic blend that helps to avoid putting plastic into our landfill by regrinding and reusing the plastic to make new discs. Because the recycled plastic comes in many colors, the result is often a “military green” disc or different dark shades of other colors. But in the case of the Ice Age, that will only help it stand out in the snow.

Beefy low speed disc.

Bought one for my Doomsday collection. I expected it to get more distance before the turn and fade but it gets to it really quick. I use this on shorter upshot’s requiring a steep overstable flight (100 to 125 feet). Beyond that I use my plague.

If you need a short flight around a pesky tree, this is a go to disc.

Finally!

I’ve been throwing exclusively Doomsday for a few months now and I have been so impressed and excited by the quality and innovation of the Doomsday lineup. That being said, my bag has had an important slot unfilled since the beginning and I have been waiting for a fairway driver that I can throw hard and flat under a low ceiling that will not flip over. I’m so grateful the Ice Age has arrived. This disc is overstable enough to handle hard throws and low nose angle without flipping but it’s got enough glide to get more distance than a midrange. Great for flat to hyzer on forehand or backhand.

Quick turnover

Great disc, I have a slower arm speed so the disc turns over pretty quick; however, with a little anhyzer this disc flies great. Easy to shape shots, replaced an Omen with the Ice Age.

Nice overstable fairway driver

This Flys like a new molded Trident from trilogy. This fades rather hard and skips, the inside rim does fell a little off, and can catch on your finger trips.

My FD3 replacement

I wasn't looking for a replacement but it filled that slot in my bag instantly.
